3. When should I use a neckloop and when the telecoil hooks?
Whether you choose the neckloop or the earhooks is entirely your personal preference. If you find that you are using the sonicBLU near the maximum volume while using the neckloop, we recommend you switch to the earhooks. Because the earhooks are closer to the hearing aid than the neckloop, you may also notice an improvement in the overall clarity of speech sounds when using the earhooks..

5. What is the Telecoil function?
Telecoils (“T-coils” or “Telephone Coils”) allow audio sources to be directly connected to a hearing aid. Telecoils can be used with telephones, FM systems, induction loop systems and public address systems. Telecoils are used to pick up magnetic signals, just as a microphone picks up an acoustic signal; the Telecoil then sends the signal to the hearing aid circuit or processor for amplification.

6. How long does the battery last?
This depends on whether you choose to use the neckloop or the earhooks, and how much overall power you are using from the sonicBLU. The earhooks will consume less power as the hooks sit closer to the hearing aids, thereby drawing less power from the sonicBLU.

7. Can I use sonicBLU to listen to my television through
    my hearing aids?
There are several commercially available options that use Bluetooth technology to transmit audio from your home audio system, including your television, to sonicBLU. The Bluetooth transmitter connected to the television buffers the audio from the television before transmitting the signal to the sonicBLU device. This can sometimes cause a slight delay between the audio from the television and the audio heard through the hearing aids.
